O'Neill is an iconic surfwear and snow apparel lifestyle brand founded in 1952 by Jack O'Neill in San Francisco, California. Jack O'Neill is widely credited with pioneering the modern neoprene wetsuit, opening one of the world's very first surf shops, and expanding into functional beachwear, swimwear, and action sports apparel.

In 2007, the worldwide trademark rights and apparel/accessories licensing for the O'Neill brand were acquired by the Logo International B.V. group (now operating as part of O'Neill Europe / DotNext), a fashion conglomerate based in the Netherlands. Meanwhile, the specialized wetsuit division (O'Neill Wetsuits) remained under the control of the founding O'Neill family in California. The apparel sold across Europe and Germany is designed and marketed by O'Neill Europe.

O'Neill apparel and sportswear products are produced across a global network of specialized textile and garment manufacturers, primarily located in countries such as China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Turkey, and India, conforming to modern international supply chain and sustainability standards.
