Spreequell Natural Mineral Water

Spreequell is a prominent German mineral water brand with deep roots in Berlin. Founded in 1969 in East Berlin, it was established to provide the city with its own locally sourced mineral water. The water is sourced from the Spreequell spring located in Dobra and is bottled in Bad Liebenwerda, Brandenburg.

Today, Spreequell Mineralbrunnen GmbH is a subsidiary of the RhönSprudel Group, a family-owned enterprise based in Ebersburg, Hesse. Despite the larger corporate ownership, the brand maintains its strong regional identity as 'Berlin's water,' emphasizing its local heritage through its marketing and labeling which prominently features the Berlin skyline.
