Selleys Spakfilla Rapid is a well-known Australian household brand used for filling holes and cracks in walls. The brand Selleys has a deep history in Australia, founded by German immigrant Martin Selley in 1939 after he moved to Sydney. The company became a household name with the tagline 'If it's Selleys it works,' which can be seen on the packaging in the image.

While Selleys was an independent Australian company for many decades, it was acquired by DuluxGroup in the late 1980s. In 2019, the ownership shifted globally when DuluxGroup (including Selleys) was acquired by Nippon Paint Holdings, a Japanese multinational firm. Despite the international ownership, the majority of Selleys products, including the Spakfilla range, continue to be manufactured in Australia at facilities such as the DuluxGroup production site in Padstow, New South Wales.
