Hotpoint Ariston Electric Oven

Hotpoint Ariston represents a heritage of European appliance manufacturing. The brand Ariston was originally founded by Aristide Merloni in Italy in 1930, while Hotpoint was established in the United States in the early 1900s. The merger of these names occurred after Indesit Company (an Italian firm) acquired the Hotpoint brand in the UK and Ireland.

Starting in 2024 and moving into 2026, the brand's ownership structure has shifted significantly. Previously owned by Whirlpool Corporation, the European operations of the brand (including Hotpoint Ariston) were integrated into Beko Europe (officially Beko Europe B.V.), which is a new major appliance manufacturer resulting from a contribution of Whirlpool's European business and Arçelik's own appliance business. Beko Europe is majority-owned by Arçelik, headquartered in Turkey. Manufacturing primarily takes place in Europe, including Italy, Poland, and Turkey.
