Château Purcari Negru de Purcari Red Wine

Château Purcari is one of Moldova's most prestigious and historic wineries, established in 1827 in the Purcari region. The 'Negru de Purcari' is their flagship wine, often referred to as the 'Queen of England's wine' due to its long history of being supplied to the British Royal Court. The wine is a dry red blend, typically composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Saperavi, and Rara Neagră grapes grown in the Stefan Voda wine region.

The winery has evolved from a small local producer into a major international brand. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the brand was revitalized and is now part of the Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (Purcari Wineries Group). This group is a significant player in the Central and Eastern European wine market, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The brand emphasizes traditional winemaking techniques combined with modern technology to produce premium quality wines that are exported to over 30 countries worldwide.
