Bosch BCRD Home Appliances

Bosch is a globally recognized brand synonymous with German engineering and quality. The brand was founded in Stuttgart in 1886 and has since expanded into various sectors, with its home appliances sector (often associated with the BCRD nomenclature in supply chains) being a major part of its portfolio.

Today, Bosch home appliances are managed by BSH Hausgeräte GmbH. While the brand maintains its headquarters and core manufacturing in Germany, it operates high-tech production facilities in multiple countries including Poland, Turkey, China, and the USA to serve global markets efficiently.

Since 2015, the home appliance division has been entirely owned by the Robert Bosch GmbH group after they acquired Siemens' stake in their former joint venture. The company is unique because it is owned primarily by a charitable foundation, though it remains one of the world's largest industrial conglomerates headquartered in Gerlingen, Germany.
