While the brand name "Bonjour" is French for "Hello," the company is fundamentally Taiwanese in origin and operation. It was established by Michael Hsu, who trained in France, Japan, and Switzerland to bring international baking standards to Taiwan. Today, Bonjour Bakery operates several outlets across Taiwan, particularly in the Taipei area, and remains an independent entity under its original founding management, providing a range of baked goods that are popular for daily consumption and gifting.
