Hans J. Wegner CH53 Footstep/Stool

The CH53 stool was designed by the world-renowned Danish architect Hans J. Wegner in 1966. It is a quintessential example of Danish Modern design, characterized by its solid wood frame and hand-woven paper cord seat. The stool is designed both as a standalone piece and as a companion to Wegner's lounge chairs. While vintage versions exist from earlier production runs, it is currently produced and distributed by Carl Hansen & Søn.
