Withings is a prominent French consumer electronics company headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. Founded in 2008, the brand has established itself as a pioneer in the connected health industry, inventing products such as the first Wi-Fi connected smart scale, smart watches, sleep trackers, and blood pressure monitors.

The global operations of Withings feature a blend of European engineering and international assembly. While research, software development, and design originate from their headquarters in France, the mass manufacturing and production of their hardware components are primarily carried out by specialized electronics manufacturing services in China.

Throughout its history, Withings has undergone notable ownership changes. In 2016, it was acquired by Nokia and rebranded as Nokia Health. However, in 2018, co-founder Éric Carreel bought back the business, restoring its original Withings name. It continues to operate as an independent entity under the leadership of its original founders and private investment.
