Since 2021, the Philips Domestic Appliances division has been owned by Hillhouse Investment, a global private equity firm, and rebranded as Versuni. These specific espresso machines are primarily manufactured in Romania, leveraging European engineering standards. Despite the change in ownership, the products continue to carry the 'Philips' brand name under a long-term licensing agreement.
