F.C. København (FCK) Football Club

F.C. København (commonly known as FCK or FC Copenhagen) is Denmark's most successful professional football club, based in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen. The club was founded on July 1, 1992, as a superstructure through the merger of two historic Copenhagen clubs: Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (KB), founded in 1876, and Boldklubben 1903 (B1903), founded in 1903.

The club is owned and operated by Parken Sport & Entertainment A/S, which also owns the national stadium, Parken, where FCK plays its home matches. As a dominant force in Danish football, FCK has won numerous Superliga titles and Danish Cups, and is a frequent participant in European competitions like the UEFA Champions League. While the football operations were transitioned into an independent partner company (F.C. København P/S) in 2023 for greater agility, the ultimate ownership remains with the publicly traded parent company, Parken Sport & Entertainment A/S, which is primarily held by Danish investors.
