Timișoreana blonde lager

Timișoreana is widely recognized as Romania's oldest beer brand, with a heritage dating back to 1718 when the first brewery was established in the Fabric district of Timișoara by the military administration under Prince Eugene of Savoy. Over its three-century history, the brewery transitioned from a royal supplier to a modern industrial leader, surviving major fires and political shifts to become the best-selling beer in Romania. The blue can featured in the image is a limited-edition release celebrating the brand's 20-year long-standing partnership with the Romanian Football Cup (Cupa României).

Today, the brand is part of the Ursus Breweries portfolio, which is the largest beer producer in the country. Since 2017, Ursus Breweries and its historic Timișoreana brand have been owned by the Japanese global beverage giant Asahi Group Holdings. The beer continues to be brewed in Romania, maintaining its traditional European pale lager profile characterized by balanced malt sweetness and a crisp finish, while benefiting from the technological and logistical expertise of its international parent company.
