Capri-Sun, originally introduced as Capri Sonne, is a world-renowned fruit juice drink famous for its iconic stand-up laminated foil pouch. The brand was created in 1969 by Rudolf Wild in Heidelberg, West Germany, and named after the Italian island of Capri, which was a popular vacation destination at the time. The brand underwent a global consolidation in 2017, transitioning from its German name 'Capri Sonne' to the uniform international name 'Capri-Sun'.

Manufacturing is decentralized through a network of local production sites and licensing agreements to reduce transportation costs and carbon footprint. While the primary factory remains in Eppelheim, Germany, the products are manufactured in over 20 countries. In North America, the product is largely produced by Kraft Heinz, while in other regions such as the UK and Europe, production recently shifted toward a direct-to-retail model or through partners like the Princes Group following a long-standing partnership with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.

The brand is under the ultimate ownership of the Capri Sun Group Holding AG, a private company owned by Hans-Peter Wild, son of the founder. Although originally a German brand, the corporate headquarters for global operations transitioned to Switzerland in the 21st century to manage its presence in over 100 countries.
