Waldquelle Sparkling Mineral Water

Waldquelle is a traditional Austrian brand of mineral water with a history dating back to 1830. The water is sourced from the deep wells in Kobersdorf, located in the middle of the Pauliberg nature reserve in Burgenland. The brand emphasizes its regional roots and the natural purity of its water, which is filtered through volcanic rock layers of the Pauliberg.

In terms of ownership, Waldquelle Mineralwasser GmbH was acquired by the Italian Mattoni 1873 group (formerly known as Karlovarské minerální vody - KMV) in 2008. Despite being part of an international holding, the production remains tied to its original source in Austria, continuing its legacy as one of the country's most prominent mineral water brands. Mattoni 1873 is a major Central European beverage company based in the Czech Republic, owned by the Italian Pasquale family.
