Bäckerei Moss is a prominent artisanal bakery chain based in Aachen, Germany, with a history dating back to 1925. Founded by Jakob Moss, the company established itself as a regional staple, particularly famous for its traditional Aachener Printen and various breads and rolls. For nearly a century, it remained a family-run business, expanding significantly under subsequent generations including Theo Moss and later Silvia and Jörg Moss.

In early 2022, the company underwent a major ownership transition when it was acquired by 'Haus der Bäcker' (House of Bakers), a holding company based in Frankfurt am Main. Despite this acquisition, Moss maintains its local identity, manufacturing its products at its central production facility in Aachen-Eilendorf to supply its approximately 58 regional branches. The ultimate ownership lies with the investors behind Haus der Bäcker, which includes the Vaillant family (known for the Vaillant Group) and the Frankfurt-based investment firm blueworld.group.
