FRoSTA 2 Burger Dorati di Salmone Selvaggio is a frozen fish preparation made from wild-caught salmon without artificial additives.

The FRoSTA brand traces its origins back to Germany, founded out of the deep-freeze division of the traditional high-seas fishing company "Nordstern" AG in Bremerhaven. Over the decades, FRoSTA pioneered the "Reinheitsgebot" (purity law) for frozen foods, removing flavor enhancers, colorings, and artificial additives from all its branded products.

Today, FRoSTA AG remains an independent, publicly traded German company headquartered in Bremerhaven, largely family-owned (by the Ahlers family). It operates major production facilities across Germany and Poland, supplying frozen fish, vegetables, and ready meals across Europe, including through its subsidiary FRoSTA S.r.l. in Italy.
