IAMS for Vitality Ocean Fish Adult Dry Cat Food

IAMS is a well-established pet nutrition brand originally founded in 1946 by animal nutritionist Paul F. Iams in the United States. He sought to develop high-quality, meat-based commercial pet diets tailored specifically to animal health and vitality.

In 1999, Procter & Gamble acquired the Iams Company. In 2014, the brand's ownership structure split geographically: Mars, Incorporated acquired the North American and global operations of IAMS, while Spectrum Brands acquired the European business. The European business includes the product lines sold in the United Kingdom.

For the UK and European markets, IAMS products are manufactured primarily at facilities in the Netherlands (notably Coevorden) under Spectrum Brands' Pet Care division, providing complete and balanced nutrition for cats across the continent.
