In 2023, Proper Snack Foods was acquired by Hawke's Bay-based apple exporter and horticulture giant Rockit Global, aiming to fuel international growth while maintaining local artisan values.

Manufacturing and Distribution

Proper Crisps are traditionally crafted in Nelson, New Zealand, using locally sourced ingredients such as Agria potatoes and high oleic sunflower oil, before being exported across Australasia.
