Riso Scotti Venere is a distinctive aromatic whole grain black rice produced and packaged by Riso Scotti S.p.A. in Pavia, Italy.

The 'Venere' variety is an authentic Italian black rice variety originally developed in 1997 through a cross between an Asian black variety and an Italian variety by the Sa.Pi.Se. cooperative (S.A.P.I.S.E. Cooperativa Agricola). Riso Scotti packages and distributes the product under trademark licensing from Sa.Pi.Se.

Riso Scotti is one of Italy's oldest and most renowned rice milling companies, founded by the Scotti family in Pavia in 1860. The business is held under Riso Scotti S.p.A., controlled by the Scotti family (through Dario Scotti and family holding structures) alongside minority corporate partnerships.
