Nixe Canned Tuna

Nixe is a private-label brand created by Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG, a prominent German discount supermarket chain. Under the Nixe trademark, Lidl sells a wide assortment of canned and preserved seafood, primarily including canned tuna, sardines, mackerel, and salmon.

Because Nixe is an exclusive private label of Lidl, the actual processing and canning are outsourced to various certified third-party seafood manufacturers globally. For products distributed in Italy and Europe, production typically takes place in canning facilities located in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ecuador, Mauritius, or the Seychelles, depending on the specific product variety, fish origin, and catch zone.
