Lukoil Fuel and Lubricants

Lukoil is one of the world's largest integrated oil and gas companies, originally established in Russia in 1991 through the merger of three state-owned Siberian oil production enterprises. Since then, it has grown into a major multinational energy brand with downstream and upstream operations across Europe and beyond.

In Romania, Lukoil has a substantial domestic footprint, operating an extensive network of hundreds of retail filling stations under the brand name Lukoil Romania. A major portion of the refined fuels sold across its Romanian network is processed locally at the Petrotel-Lukoil refinery situated in Ploiești, while engine oils and specialized lubricants are sourced from specialized blending facilities within the group's European manufacturing network.

The brand is ultimately owned by PJSC Lukoil, headquartered in Moscow, Russia. The company handles its local distribution, fuel stations, and refinery operations through Romanian registered subsidiaries, notably Lukoil Romania S.R.L. and Petrotel-Lukoil S.A.
