AH Water

AH Water is the private-label bottled water brand offered by Albert Heijn, the largest and most prominent supermarket chain in the Netherlands. Sourced as both still and sparkling mineral or spring water, AH Water products are bottled from local and European sources, primarily within the Netherlands and neighbouring countries such as Belgium and Germany.

The Albert Heijn brand originated in 1887 in Oostzaan, the Netherlands, founded by Albert Heijn when he took over his father's grocery store. Over the decades, the company expanded rapidly to become the Dutch market leader in retail groceries. Today, Albert Heijn is an operating subsidiary of Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize N.V., a Dutch-Belgian multinational retail and wholesale corporation headquartered in Zaandam, the Netherlands.

While "AH" can refer to other entities globally (such as Asian Home or vintage hardware brands), in the Dutch retail market AH specifically denotes the proprietary brand of Albert Heijn.
