Sondey Cantuccini Sweet Biscuits with Almonds

Sondey Cantuccini are traditional Italian almond biscuits (biscotti) produced in Italy for Lidl's private-label range. They are characterized by their crunchy texture and inclusion of whole almonds, traditionally served alongside dessert wine or coffee.

Sondey is a proprietary brand developed by the German supermarket giant Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG, which is part of the Schwarz Group (Schwarz Gruppe). The brand encompasses a wide assortment of baked sweet and savory snacks sold internationally throughout Lidl store networks.

Schwarz Group is headquartered in Neckarsulm, Germany, and is one of the world's largest retail corporations. Although Lidl previously operated stores in Norway until exiting the market in 2008, products under its private labels such as Sondey are frequently brought into Norway via cross-border shopping in Sweden or through international import shops.
