Teka MWE FS20 Blanco microwave

The Teka MWE FS20 Blanco is a compact, freestanding countertop microwave designed with a 20-liter capacity and integrated grill function. Teka was originally founded in 1924 in Germany by Karl Thielmann as an agricultural machinery firm before expanding into stainless steel sinks and kitchen appliances, notably partnering with Helmut Klein.

Teka became deeply rooted in Spain starting in the 1960s with manufacturing facilities in Santander and headquarters in Madrid. In 2024, the Teka Group's kitchen appliances division was acquired by Midea Group, a leading global technology and major appliance manufacturer headquartered in Foshan, China.

While Teka operates manufacturing facilities across Europe for ovens, sinks, and hobs, compact microwave models such as the MWE FS20 are primarily manufactured in China by parent group production facilities.
