Albo Sardinas Picantonas

Albo is an iconic Spanish cannery founded in 1869 in Santoña, Cantabria, by Carlos Albo Kay. Over the decades, the brand established itself as one of Spain's premier producers of preserved seafood, especially tuna, sardines, and anchovies, later relocating its core operations to Galicia.

In 2016, Hijos de Carlos Albo was acquired by the Chinese industrial conglomerate Shanghai Kaichuang Marine International Co., Ltd. (part of Bright Food Group). Despite the change in parent ownership, production remains anchored in Spain, with advanced seafood canning facilities located in Salvaterra de Miño and Vigo (Pontevedra, Galicia).
