Allan Molasses Kisses are a classic Canadian Halloween staple, known for their distinct orange and black waxed paper wrappers. These chewy molasses candies have a rich history dating back to 1931 when the Allan Candy Company was founded in Burlington, Ontario. The product is celebrated for its traditional recipe and is manufactured locally within Canada.

Over the decades, the brand has transitioned through several owners. In 1995, it was acquired by the British confectionery giant Cadbury Schweppes. Following the global split of Cadbury and the subsequent acquisition by Kraft Foods, the brand eventually became part of the Mondelēz International portfolio. In 2014, Mondelēz sold the Allan Candy brand to Hershey Canada, a subsidiary of The Hershey Company. Today, Hershey remains the ultimate owner, continuing the production of these seasonal favorites for the Canadian market.
