While Atkinson is a quintessentially American candy company, they moved the production of certain lines, including Kits, to manufacturing facilities in Mexico to maintain competitive pricing for the value-tier market. Today, the brand remains under the stewardship of the Atkinson family, preserving its traditional recipe and vintage appeal for modern consumers.
