In early 2024, the company underwent a major transition when it was taken private by Trilogy Retail Holdings Inc., a company owned by Gerald Schwartz, the husband of founder Heather Reisman. This move solidified the brand's return to private ownership within Canada after years of being publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
