Quick is a prominent European fast-food chain originally established in Belgium in 1971. It was founded by Baron François Vaxelaire as the first European alternative to American burger chains like McDonald's. The brand quickly gained popularity across Belgium and Luxembourg before expanding significantly into France, where it became a major market player. Throughout its history, Quick has introduced several iconic products, such as the 'Giant' burger, which remains a staple of its menu.

Over the decades, the brand has undergone several changes in ownership. In 2006, it was acquired by CDC Capital Investissement, a subsidiary of the French state-owned Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations. In late 2015, the brand was acquired by Groupe Bertrand, which subsequently converted many Quick locations in France into Burger King restaurants. However, the Quick brand continues to operate and expand in Belgium, Luxembourg, and several international territories under its dedicated management structure. It remains a cherished brand in its home markets, known for its distinctive European take on the quick-service restaurant industry.
