Forst Beer

Forst is an iconic Italian brewery that remains one of the few large independent brewers in the country. Founded in 1857 by Jose Fuchs and Johann Wallnöfer in the village of Algund (Lagundo), just outside Merano, the brewery has deep roots in the South Tyrol region. The brand has been meticulously developed and maintained by the Fuchs family since 1863, when Josef Fuchs took over ownerhship.

The production is centered in South Tyrol, utilizing the pure mountain water of the surrounding Alps to maintain its unique flavor profile. Today, Forst is renowned for its premium quality and strong cultural identity, operating as a crown jewel of Italian brewing tradition while remaining fiercely independent of foreign multinational conglomerates.
