Focus Whistler mountain bike

Focus Bikes was established in Germany in 1993 by cyclocross world champion Mike Kluge. The Whistler series reflects the brand's commitment to high-performance mountain biking, engineered for versatility across various terrains. While the design and engineering remain deeply rooted in Stuttgart, Germany, assembly and production often involve global supply chains across Europe and Asia.

Since 1999, the brand has been under the umbrella of Derby Cycle, which grew to become Germany's largest bicycle manufacturer. In late 2011/early 2012, Derby Cycle was acquired by the Dutch conglomerate Pon Holdings. Today, Focus sits within the Pon.Bike portfolio, benefiting from extensive global distribution networks and shared technical expertise alongside other premium cycling brands.
