Recaro is a legendary German brand with a history dating back to 1906, originally founded as a saddlery and car body factory. While the brand is world-renowned for its high-performance automotive racing seats and aircraft seating, the child safety division (Recaro Kids) operates under a specific licensing and ownership structure.

Today, the Recaro Kids division is managed by the Italian company Artsana Group, which secured a long-term license for the global manufacturing and distribution of Recaro-branded child seats and strollers. While the brand heritage remains German, the engineering and production facilities are distributed across Europe and Asia. The Recaro Holding company still maintains overall brand stewardship from Germany, but the operational ultimate owner for the juvenile products is Artsana.
