Lipton Melocotón Ice Tea Iced Tea

Lipton Melocotón Ice Tea is a popular peach-flavored iced tea brand. The Lipton brand has its roots in Scotland, founded by Thomas Lipton in the late 19th century, and eventually became a dominant force in the global tea market. In the contemporary market, Lipton's ready-to-drink tea products are produced and distributed through a long-standing joint venture between Unilever and PepsiCo, known as the Pepsi Lipton Tea Partnership.

While the brand originated in the United Kingdom, its manufacturing locations are decentralized to serve local markets efficiently. In Spain and Europe, the product is often manufactured locally or in regional facilities. The ultimate ownership of the Lipton brand was historically tied to Unilever; however, in 2022, Unilever sold a significant portion of its tea business (including Lipton) to CVC Capital Partners, forming a new entity called ekaterra (now Lipon Teas and Infusions). The ready-to-drink bottled teas, however, continue to be managed through the partnership with PepsiCo for distribution and bottling operations.
