Viña Tarapacá Merlot 2023 D.O. Valle Central

Viña Tarapacá is a historic Chilean winery with a heritage dating back to 1874. Originally founded as Viña de Rojas by Francisco de Rojas y Salamanca in the Maipo Valley, it was later renamed Viña Tarapacá Ex Zavala. The estate is famously located in a natural "clos" at the foot of the Andes, surrounded by the Maipo River and mountains, which provides a unique mesoclimate for viticulture. The 2023 Merlot from the Valle Central (Central Valley) reflects this long-standing tradition of high-quality, sustainable Chilean winemaking.
