OBH Nordica is a prominent Scandinavian brand known for its household appliances. The company was formed in 2002 through the merger of the Swedish company Nordica (founded in 1959) and the Danish company OBH (founded in 1985). This fusion created a strong regional player in the small domestic appliance market across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

In 2015, the brand was acquired by Groupe SEB, a French multinational and a global leader in small domestic equipment. Under Groupe SEB, OBH Nordica products often share technology and manufacturing platforms with other brands in the group's portfolio, such as Tefal and Rowenta. While the brand maintains its Nordic design heritage at its headquarters in Sundbyberg, Sweden, the actual manufacturing is largely outsourced to global production facilities, primarily in China, to maintain competitive pricing.
