Historically, the brand operated under its parent manufacturing entity in Dongguan, China, focusing on research and development for the Asian market before expanding globally. In a major corporate shift in July 2024, Bear Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., a prominent Chinese home appliance manufacturer, reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake (approximately 61.78%) in Guangdong Roman Technology. This acquisition integrates Roaman into Bear Electric's broader portfolio of consumer electronics, positioning it for further growth in the smart health and beauty segments through 2026 and beyond. Manufacturing remains centralized in China, leveraging the company's extensive production facilities in Guangdong province.
