Hénaff is a legendary French brand deeply rooted in the Brittany region, specifically in Pouldreuzic. Founded in 1907 by Jean Hénaff, the company originally began as a vegetable cannery but evolved to create its famous pork pâté in 1915 to maintain year-round production. The Pâté de Foie (Liver Pâté) variation highlighted here features Guérande sea salt, a premium ingredient sourced from the salt marshes of western France, emphasizing the brand's commitment to local, high-quality ingredients.

Today, the Jean Hénaff Group remains an independent family-owned business, currently managed by the fourth generation of the Hénaff family. All production continues to take place at their historic site in Pouldreuzic, Finistère. The company is notably one of the few French agri-food businesses to hold the 'Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant' (Living Heritage Company) label, recognizing its exceptional traditional know-how.
