Omia Laboratori Ecobio is a prominent Italian brand specializing in organic and natural personal care products. Founded in 1997 by the Angioletti family through their company M.G.A. SpA, the brand was established with a focus on certified ecological and biological (EcoBio) formulas. The brand was officially launched as Omia in 2009 and gained significant market share in Italy for its commitment to sustainability and transparency in ingredients.

In July 2019, the brand was acquired by the Bolton Group, a major international consumer goods corporation. The acquisition was facilitated through Bolton's subsidiary, Manetti & Roberts, which is well-known for other historic Italian personal care brands like Borotalco and Neutro Roberts.

Manufacturing remains rooted in Italy, specifically at the production site in Cisterna di Latina, near Rome. This facility oversees the research, development, and manufacturing of their extensive line of shampoos, body washes, and creams, maintaining the brand's heritage of Italian craftsmanship and botanical expertise.
