Acqua di Nepi mineral water

Acqua di Nepi is a naturally effervescent mineral water originating from the thermal springs of Nepi in the province of Viterbo, Italy. Historically, the area was known for its thermal baths used by the Etruscans and Romans, but industrial bottling began in the mid-20th century. While initially a local brand, it gained national prominence due to its unique mineral balance and natural carbonation.

In 1998, the brand was acquired by Acqua Vera S.p.A., then part of the Nestlé Group. However, as part of a strategic divestment of regional brands in Italy, it was sold to Sanpellegrino (also a Nestlé subsidiary) before ultimately being acquired by the San Benedetto Group. Today, the Acqua di Nepi brand remains a symbol of Italian regional excellence within the portfolio of one of Italy's largest beverage companies.
