Keter is an internationally recognized brand known for resin-based outdoor storage solutions, garden sheds, patio furniture, and utility products. The company was founded in Jaffa, Israel, in 1948 by the Sagol family, initially operating as a small workshop manufacturing plastic toys and household wares before expanding into heavy-duty plastic garden products.

Over the decades, Keter expanded significantly across Europe and North America through both organic growth and acquisitions (including brands like Curver and Allibert Trek). In 2016, European private equity firm BC Partners acquired a majority controlling interest in Keter Group. While manufacturing occurs globally—including plants across Israel, Europe (such as the Netherlands, the UK, and Spain), and North America—Israel remains one of its foundational production hubs.
