Inedit Tofu

Inedit is a prominent plant-based food brand best known for its wide variety of soy and tofu products, including classic, smoked, marinated, and spiced varieties. Originating in Romania, Inedit was founded by Inedit SRL to serve the growing market for healthy, vegetarian, and Lenten (fasting) food staples.

In 2013, Inedit SRL was acquired by the major Romanian agri-food holding Dr. Fischer Investment (DFI Group). Today, production remains primarily based at Inedit's dedicated manufacturing facilities in Romania, which adhere to European quality and non-GMO soy standards. In international markets, including specialty European and international grocery stores in the United States, Inedit products are imported through regional ethnic food distributors.

It is worth noting that the name 'Inedit' is also well known globally in the beverage industry through Estrella Damm Inedit, a craft-style beer created in collaboration with chef Ferran Adrià in Spain; however, the Spanish brewing brand is completely unrelated to the Romanian plant-based food company Inedit.
