Cedar Haricots noirs (Black Beans) is a staple canned legume product sold across grocery aisles in Canada under the well-known Cedar Phoenicia brand.

Founded in 1989 in Saint-Laurent (Montreal), Quebec, the Cedar brand was established by Phoenicia Products Inc. (Les Produits Phoenicia Inc.) to offer authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern pantry essentials, as well as mainstream canned pulses and grains. Phoenicia Products grew into a leading importer and distributor of specialty foods across Canada.

In 2012, Phoenicia Products Inc., along with the Cedar brand, was acquired by Metro Inc., one of Canada's largest supermarket and retail food distribution chains headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. Canned legumes under the Cedar label sold in Canada are prepared and canned domestically using quality dry beans.
