SELECT Juba football

The SELECT Juba is a popular training and leisure football developed by the renowned Danish sports equipment company SELECT Sport A/S. Renowned across Scandinavia and particularly in Norway for durable grassroots football equipment, the Juba model is designed specifically for children, schools, and amateur youth clubs.

Founded in 1947 by Danish national football team goalkeeper Eigil Nielsen, SELECT Sport revolutionized ball manufacturing by inventing the 32-panel ball design that became the global standard. Today, SELECT remains headquartered in Glostrup, Denmark, and is owned by the Danish sporting goods holding company SELECT Sport A/S.

While design, testing, and brand management take place in Denmark, production of SELECT footballs—including the Juba model—is primarily based in Pakistan (specifically the Sialkot region, which serves as the premier global manufacturing hub for hand-stitched and machine-stitched footballs). In Norway, SELECT products are distributed directly by the local subsidiary Select Sport Norge AS.
