Brand Heritage and Evolution

Reell (officially stylised as Reell Jeans) was established in 1997 in Germany by Evert Hermans and Ben Diederen. Initially launched with a mission to design well-fitting, durable, and functional skate pants at an accessible price point, the brand quickly earned a loyal following across the European skateboarding and streetwear scenes. Over the decades, Reell expanded its catalog from classic baggy pants and chinos to a complete range of contemporary streetwear, outerwear, and accessories.

Ownership Structure

The brand is owned and operated by Reellworld GmbH, headquartered in Kranenburg, Germany. Unlike many legacy skate and apparel brands that have been acquired by major global conglomerates, Reell remains an independent, privately held company driven by its original founders and core lifestyle philosophy.

Sourcing and Manufacturing

While Reell's creative design, marketing, and headquarters operations are centered in Germany, the production of its garments is outsourced to specialized textile and garment factories located in various manufacturing hubs across Asia (such as China, Bangladesh, and Pakistan) as well as Europe (including Turkey). This distributed network allows the brand to maintain high durability standards while remaining competitive in retail markets across Italy and Europe.
