KTM Bicycle

KTM Fahrrad GmbH is an Austrian bicycle manufacturer headquartered in Mattighofen, Austria. The original KTM company was founded in 1934 by Hans Trunkenpolz, initially producing motorcycles and later expanding into bicycle manufacturing in 1964.

Following bankruptcy restructuring in 1991–1992, the original company was split into separate independent divisions: KTM Fahrrad (bicycles), KTM Sportmotorcycle (motorcycles), KTM Kühler (radiators), and KTM Werkzeugbau (tooling). Today, KTM Fahrrad GmbH is completely independent of the KTM motorcycle manufacturer (Pierer Mobility AG). KTM bicycles are designed and largely assembled at the company's headquarters and factory in Mattighofen, Austria, using components sourced globally.
