La Molisana is an Italian pasta brand originally founded in 1912 by the Carlone family in Campobasso, in the Molise region of Italy.
In 2011, the historic millers and pasta-making Ferro family (Gruppo Ferro / La Molisana S.p.A.) acquired the company, reviving and heavily investing in its production facilities and brand positioning worldwide.
All authentic La Molisana pasta products, including its squid ink specialty pasta (Nero di Seppia), are manufactured in Campobasso, Italy, utilizing 100% Italian wheat sourced through its integrated supply chain.
