Scotsburn Whipping Cream

Scotsburn is a well-established Canadian brand with a long history in Atlantic Canada. The brand originated as the Scotsburn Co-operative Dairy Limited in Scotsburn, Nova Scotia, in 1900. It grew over the decades to become a significant provider of dairy and ice cream products across the Maritimes.

Today, the Scotsburn brand is owned by Saputo Inc., a major Canadian global dairy processor. The transition of ownership occurred in two stages: Saputo acquired Scotsburn's fluid milk business in 2014, and subsequently, Agropur acquired the ice cream business in 2017. The fluid milk and cream products under the Scotsburn label, such as the whipping cream shown, are produced by Saputo in Canadian facilities, continuing the brand's local heritage under large-scale corporate management.
