ACO (Apotekens Composita) is a legendary Swedish skincare brand founded in 1939 by the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society. For decades, it served as the official laboratory for Swedish pharmacies, developing products specifically tailored for the Nordic climate and sensitive skin.

Today, the brand is owned by the German pharmaceutical group Perrigo. While its corporate ownership is international, ACO maintains its strong Swedish heritage, with its research and development laboratory still based in Kista, Stockholm.
