Landliebe is one of Germany's most recognizable dairy brands, traditionally associated with rural nostalgia and high-quality milk products. Originally established in the 1970s, it became a symbol of traditional German dairy craftsmanship, often packaged in its signature reusable glass jars to emphasize sustainability and freshness.

The brand has undergone significant ownership changes in recent years. Long owned by the Dutch cooperative FrieslandCampina, the Landliebe brand and its German production facilities were acquired by the Müller Group (Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller) in 2023. This acquisition solidified Müller's dominant position in the European dairy market, though the production remains centered in Germany to maintain the brand's local identity.
