iögo creamy yogurt pack

iögo is a prominent Canadian yogurt brand that was launched in 2012. The brand was originally created by Ultima Foods, which was a joint venture between two major Canadian dairy cooperatives: Agropur and Aliments Ultima (Sodiaal). The brand was specifically developed to compete in the Canadian market with a focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

In 2017, Agropur Cooperative acquired full ownership of Ultima Foods, including the iögo brand. However, a significant shift in ownership occurred in 2021 when the French multinational dairy giant Lactalis (specifically its Canadian subsidiary, Lactalis Canada) acquired Agropur's yogurt business. This acquisition included the iögo and Liberté brands, as well as production facilities across Canada. Today, iögo remains a staple in Canadian grocery stores, manufactured primarily in Canadian facilities using Canadian milk, under the ultimate ownership of the Besnier family's Lactalis Group based in France.
